The BEWC Navigator Program connects residents of Upton and Historic Marble Hill with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Our trained Navigators walk alongside individuals and families - helping the overcome barriers, access essential services, and build a stronger, more stable future.

The Health Suite provides access to trained Medical Proffessionals through a partnership with the University of Maryland Medical Center.
 
These medical personell will host a monthly drop-in clinic for basic screenings and tests. This service will be without charge and without appointment for the communities benefit.

The programming connected to the Health Suite will be doing other activities on regular interveals to provide the knowledge and skills needed to live healthier.​

Designed to reduce barriers residents often encounter when trying to access care and support.

COMMING SOON!

The Nourish Cafe is currently being built inside BEWC. Once open it will serve a chefs meal daily with healthy ingredients.

The Cafe will be open to all members of the community. It will also host different events to improve the nutritional knowledge within community.

It will be a must visit at BEWC!

The Financial Empowerment Hub located in BEWC is a a place of financial empowerment through couseling services. With the support of M&T Bank the BEWC Financial Hub will be a place where people can open accounts, fill out paperwork for loans, and attend financial literacy classes. 

​The Hub is also connected to the ATM that is inside BEWC for public use.

These services are by appointment only.

The Faith Community Technical Assitance Hub is for the financial empowerment of faith institutions. The TA Hub is ment to take the vision of a faith instution and help make it a reailty, by connecting them to resources and supporting the creation process.

This intiative was started through the Second Episcopal District of the AME Church, but can be used by any faith insitution. These services help empower community through faith organizations, and are not limited to the state of Maryland.

A place where faith can reach community and make a difference.

BEWC is deeply engaged in neighborhood revitalization through the Baltimore Vacants Reinvestment Initative (BVRI) in Historic Marble Hill. This initiative addresses concentrated vacancy, deteriorated housing stock, and speculative ownership patterns that destabilize entire blocks and undermine community confidence.

With support from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), BEWC is aquiring and rehabilitatinf vacant and blighted properties to create affordable homeownership opportunities and long-term neighborhood stability.

The BEWC Historic Marble Hill Facade Program is a community-driven intiative providing forgivable grants to legacy homeowners for critical front facade imporvements. Together with the Historic Marble Hill Community Association, BEWC is investing in our neighborhood to ensure residents can remain, thrive, and build generational wealth.
