Wellness Wheel of Services

Indentified services, opportunities, and supports will be categorized on the community and family wellness wheel of services.
The wheel of services is directly realted to the BEWC's navagator program. The Navagator Program provides access to trained community Navagators who work directly with residents to:

Access family and indivual needs

Connect Residents to vetted service providers

Assist with referalls related to housing, workforce, health, and financial empowerment

Develop personalized action plans

Conduct follow-up support over 6 - 12 months
Designed to reduce barriers residents often encounter when trying to access care and support.
Programmatic Areas of Work
1.) Office Space for Community Partner's and Community Resources
The Bethel Empowerment and Wellness Center will provide office space for a host of community partners. The Center will also provide start-up incubation space for small businesses in the community and coordinate monthly expert forms.


2.) Neutral Convener
The Bethel Empowerment and Wellness Center will provide meeting space for community conversations and when appropriate offer facilitation and brokering supports.
3.) Community Nutrition Hub
The Bethel Empowerment and Wellness Center will have an industrial kitchen and will provide nutritional meal options in the community. The Center will also facilitate partnership with culinary arts programs that utilize the commercial kitchen space.


4.) Community Resource Hub
The Bethel Empowerment and Wellness Center will work with existing resources to create a comprehensive list of services, opportunities, and supports offered in the 21217 zip code and Historic Upton Neighborhood.
